This watercolor was painted from a photo while visiting the little village of Truchas, New Mexico.  Of course, I had to add my palette of colors to bring some "happiness" to it.

I started my watercolor class last Wednesday at Garden and Arts Center, Lubbock, Texas.  This is the painting we worked on.  Really enjoying getting back into my watercolors. 

 

I use mostly transparent watercolors, except for my teal sky, which is opaque.

This was a house located outside of Fredericksburg.  Had fun using my palette of vibrant colors on this one. 

 

This painting will be available at the Lubbock Arts Festival April 18th and 19th.  Premiere night April 17th

 

I got invited to join a gallery in Greenville, Alabama!!!!  Very excited about this.
