This watercolor was painted from a photo while visiting the little village of Truchas, New Mexico.  Of course, I had to add my palette of colors to bring some "happiness" to it.

This was painted from a photo I took last winter while traveling through Hondo Valley.  I had traveled this road for the last 40 years or so, but never noticed this sweet little church. 

This was one of the paintings completed in my last acrylic workshop.  We all had a great time.

This painting was originally done in acrylic.  I decided I didn't like the way it looked, so I went back and painted oils over it.  Very pleased with it now.

This painting was done on a regular canvas, not watercolor canvas.  I prepared the canvas by wiping with alcohol first. I was trying this method so I could just spray with an archival mineral spirits (glossy) and not put behind mat and glass.
